Photo of DaraDara Schindelka is a professional musician, educator, and voice specialist. She holds her ARCT (Associate in Singing from the Royal Conservatory) as well as a Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina. Dara received training and has experience in musical theatre from Randolph School of the Fine Arts in Toronto, ON. She has been a private teacher for over 25 years in singing and other subjects as well as a public school teacher across the province of Saskatchewan. She is a member of the Saskatchewan Music Educators Association and is currently touring across the province sharing music and stories as a singer-songwriter through the Cherry Tree Music Education Fund. Her latest album, Saturn Returns, is an album of folk originals and she tours extensively throughout the year when not teaching.

Dara loves to help students grow in their skills as singers and performers in all styles of music and genres. She also enjoys helping students develop their skills as songwriters and theatrical singers using classical singing as a foundation for all other areas of musical growth.

Who should sing with Dara?

Age of Student: Ages 8 and up

Skill levels: All skill levels 

Expectations: Students are not expected to participate in exams, recitals or music festivals

Supplies Required: Piano

Average Lesson Length: 30 minutes

30-Minute Lesson Rate: $31.50 * Private Lessons range from $28.50-35.50 and are based on previous education and experience.

Education: Associate Diploma in Singing, Bachelor of Education
