Saxophone Lessons with Trent Reschny
Trent is a graduate of U of R and the University of Toronto’s Jazz program. He’s played his saxophone locally with Jack Semple, the Regina and Saskatoon Jazz Orchestras, 15 years on Toronto's jazz scene, across Canada with Jully Black, Matt Dusk, Kardinal Offishal, Shad, Luke McMaster, Valery Gore, and with visiting artists The Temptations, The SNL All Stars, Don Rickles, Dukes of Hazzard, Bob Newhart and more. Trent also shares his love of music by teaching at the Regina Conservatory, hosted Alone Together on 91.3FM CJTR Thursdays 4-6pm, and in 2020 joined the U of R's Faculty of Music as a sessional lecturer (Jazz Improv, Ear Training).
Who should play with Trent?
Age of Student: Ages 11 and up
Skill levels: All skills levels, with a preference for advanced students
Expectations: Students are not required to participate in exams, recitals and music festivals.
Supplies Required: Saxophone, reeds, assigned music and a smartphone or tablet is beneficial
Average Lesson Length: 30, 45, 60 minutes
30-Minute Lesson Rate: $30 * Private Lessons range from $28.50-35.50 and are based on previous education and experience.
