Who should play with Matthew?
Age of Student: Ages 7 and up
Skill levels: All skill levels
Genres: Classical primarily, and jazz harmony at the keyboard
Expectations: Students are expected to prepare a breadth of repertoire of varying styles over the course of the year, and to perform in multiple recitals throughout the year. When applicable, students will be expected to take exams through the Royal Conservatory of Music. Guardians of students are expected to provide a suitable practicing space, as well as guide regular practicing throughout the week based on the format of the lesson.
Supplies Required: Method books for students depend on level of student, but most beginners will use Bela Bartok's Mikrokosmos for the first 3 months of instruction
