Identifying Innovation
Ready to drive cutting‐edge results? Start by identifying innovative workplace solutions. Gain the confidence needed to identify and analyze problems, select the best opportunities for innovation and create an implementation plan to close gaps. Recognize the important roles leaders, employees and clients play in driving innovation. This is a required course in the Change Management and Innovation Certificate. It is highly recommended but not required that you complete this course after Fundamentals of Innovation and prior to the remaining required courses. Learning Outcomes:
- Understand where ideas for innovation come from
- Understand the benefits of systems thinking and how to apply a systems thinking approach
- Demonstrate basic value stream analysis
- Gain the foundations of experienced‐based mapping
- Lead effective team‐based problem solving
- Engage clients and staff in identifying opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement an improvement plan including measuring the benefits
