Flamenco - Beginner continues to explore the dynamic dance of Flamenco learned in Introduction to Flamenco. Students explore technique of footwork, rhythmic clapping (palmas), arm and hand movements and turns. Emphasis will be placed on precision, clarity and style. Sequences and rhythms are introduced but no complete choreography.

Prerequisite: Introduction to Flamenco

Have previous Flamenco dance experience? Email our Student & Instructor Services Non-Credit office to schedule a placement audition with our instructors to check if our Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced group is the right fit based on your experience.

The Conservatory Flamenco dance program is run in partnership with Flamenco Regina.
