Ensembles & Musicianship
Musicianship is more than just music theory. Youth and adults will build practical experience to bring theory to life. The Conservatory of Performing Arts ensembles & musicianship program build important ensemble playing skills and introduce students to music theory fundamentals, music history and new genres of music. These classes are a perfect supplement to private lessons or school band programs and will help advance your or your child’s playing skills in a fun social environment.
Registration is also available here for community members wishing to join the University of Regina Music Department’s ensembles as non-credit students.
Music Department ensembles take place on Main Campus (3737 Wascana Parkway) and Conservatory of Performing Arts ensembles and musicianship classes take place at the College Avenue Campus (2155 College Avenue).
The Conservatory offers Group Program Showcase performances where yearlong ensembles perform in December and May/June annually. All performances take place at Darke Hall and are ticketed events.
We hope you can come play with us! Create, play and perform with us!
